8-days Wondrous Kenya Safari
Kenya; Nairobi, Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru National Park and the Masai Mara.
Our 8-days wondrous Kenya safari begins in the Nairobi Capital to the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro in the southern part of Kenya the Amboseli National Park. Our next stop will be at the Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru, hugged by grassy banks and shingled with cacti and sand olive trees, the Rift Valley's highest lake (at 1884m above sea level) extends like a vast, sunlit sea. Culminate your safari in the Great Masai Mara National Reserve, a huge expanse of gently rolling grassland – specked with flat-topped acacia trees and trampled by massive herds of zebras and wildebeest among other animals.
Itinerary
Day 1: Enplane to Nairobi Capital, Kenya
Your 8-days wondrous Kenya safari adventure begins as you enplane for Africa. Meet and greet upon arrival, thereafter you will be transferred to a city hotel for an overnight stay.
Bed and breakfast at The Boma Hotel, Nairobi.

Day 2 & 3: Amboseli National Park
Breakfast is served at the city hotel followed by early check-out; we will drive you by road to Amboseli National Park. Its signature attraction is the sight of hundreds of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Africa’s best views of Mt Kilimanjaro (5,895m). Africa’s highest peak broods over the southern boundary of the park, and while cloud cover can render the mountain’s massive bulk invisible for much of the day, you’ll be rewarded with stunning vistas when the weather clears, usually at dawn or dusk. Apart from guaranteed elephant sightings, you’ll also see resident wildebeest and zebras, and you’ve a reasonable chance of spotting lions, cheetahs and hyenas.
The park is also home to over 370 bird species, and it has an excellent array of lodges and an agreeably mild, dry climate. Dinner and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge

Day 4 & 5: Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru National Park
Sumptuous breakfast is served at the lodge followed by check-out; our driver-guide will transfer you by road to the Lake Naivasha via Nairobi Capital, hugged by grassy banks and shingled with cacti and sand olive trees, the Rift Valley's highest lake (at 1884m above sea level) extends like a vast, sunlit sea. But there's more to this spot than the lovely blue lake. Arrive in time for lunch and check-in.
Our stay will be at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort; Set in one hundred and fifty acres of grassland studded with Acacia bushes and trees, the resort is not only home to our resident giraffe, waterbuck and both Vervet and Colobus monkeys, but it is also a night stop for the hippos when they leave the lake every night to come and trim the grass on our expansive lawns.
In the afternoon proceed for a boat ride to the Crescent Island, it's one of the few places in the Rift Valley where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, impalas and countless bird species.
Next day proceed for a day trip to Lake Nakuru National Park home to both black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos and endangered Rothschild's giraffes.. The park is mainly a wooded and bushy grassland with a wide ecological diversity and characteristic habitats that range from the lake waters to the escarpment and ridges.
Dinner and overnight at stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.

Day 6 & 7: Masai Mara National Reserve
Sumptuous breakfast is served followed by check-out; we will make our lovely drive to the Famous Masai Mara National Reserve. This huge expanse of gently rolling grassland – specked with flat-topped acacia trees and trampled by massive herds of zebras and wildebeest – is the ultimate African cliché.
But for once the reality lives up to the image and the Masai Mara, which comprises not just the famous reserve but also around a dozen community conservancies, several group ranches and numerous Maasai villages, is for many people not just the highlight of their Kenyan adventure but the very reason they came in the first place.
Arrival in time for lunch and check-in. Our host for the next 2 days will be Mara Serena Safari Lodge; perched high on a bush-cloaked hill with sweeping views of the savannah and the meandering shoreline of the Mara River. Venture out for the afternoon game drive within in search of the Mara big cats and other nocturnal species.
The next day spent on a morning and afternoon OR full day game drive with packed lunch exploring the pristine wilderness of the Masai Mara. If you’re travelling during the months of the wildebeest migration, it will be the ideal time from which to witness this spectacle.
You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a visit to the Maasai village to heighten your senses, or if you’re feeling adventurous perhaps an exhilarating hot air balloon safari would do the trick. Dinner and overnight stay at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

“Wonderful experience of wild life”
Very good tailor-made course for a 6-day stay: Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. The lodges were very well made. Paul our guide was very attentive and managed to make us see the “big five” including rhinoceros and leopard in Masai Mara which is not obvious. The landscapes and the wildlife are truly magnificent in Kenya. An unforgettable experience.
