13 Days Magical Kenya Safari
Destinations - Kenya; Nairobi, Tsavo National Park, Laikipia Reserve and the Masai Mara.
Our intimate hand-crafted African journeys begins in Tsavo National Park; our base will be at Finch Hatton’s Camp an aristocratic Britisher bursting with love Africa and its stupendous sceneries and free-roaming animals. Then take off to Loisaba Tented Camp, in the Loisaba Conservancy, a private enclave adjacent to the Laikipia Reserve, up on the game-rich plateau, graced with views of a volcanic peak of Mount Kenya. We finish flourishingly in Sir Richard Branson’s gem, Mahali Mzuri, a spectacular camp in the fabled Masai Mara, the lush northern part of the Serengeti-Masai Mara ecosystem, the ultimate African cliché.

Day 2: Explore Nairobi City
Begin your day with an amazing tour to the David and Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage giving you truly Heart- touching memories. The Wildlife Trust is bordering Nairobi National Park offering safe haven to orphaned baby elephants rescued from parks and reserves in Kenya.
Later proceed to Giraffe Centre which protects the highly endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, combines serious conservation with enjoyable activities. Enjoy your lunch at a city restaurant.
Culminate your day with Karen Blixen Museum tour; was once the centerpiece of a farm at the foot of the Ngong Hills owned by Danish Author Karen and her Swedish Husband, Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke. Located 10km from the city centre, the Museum belongs to a different time period in the history of Kenya.
The farmhouse gained international fame with the release of the movie ‘Out of Africa’ an Oscar-winning film based on Karen’s autobiography by the same title.

Day 3 & 5: Tsavo National Park
Breakfast is served at the city hotel followed by an early check-out; our driver-guide will transfer you to Wilson Airport to catch your schedule flight to Tsavo National Park. It is one of Kenya’s larger national parks (9065 sq km), covering a huge variety of landscapes from swamps, natural springs and rocky peaks to extinct volcanic cones, rolling plains and sharp outcrops dusted with greenery. Finch Hatton’s Camp will set our tone in the next three nights combining its love for Tsavo with world-class facilities. The camp is completely isolated, so much so that you would be forgiven for forgetting that the rest of the world exists at all. In this place, it’s just you, the vast and varied terrain that stretches in every direction, and the many beasts and birds that call it home.

Day 6, 7, & 8: Laikipia Plateau
A sumptuous breakfast is served followed by check-out; en-route transfer to the nearest airstrip to catch your flight to Laikipia Plateau. Set against the backdrop of Mt Kenya, the Laikipia plateau extends over 9500 sq km of semi-arid plains, dramatic gouges, and acacia-thicket-covered hills.
This patchwork of privately owned ranches, wildlife conservancies, and small-scale farms has become one of the most important areas for biodiversity in the country, boasting wildlife densities second only to those found in the Masai Mara. It's the last refuge of Kenya’s African wild dogs and it's here that some of the most effective conservation work in the country is being done.
Loisaba Tented Camp will set our tone for the next three nights; perched on the edge of an escarpment, designed to capitalize on unhindered views across Laikipia's mottled landscape all the way to Mt Kenya. All tents and main areas enjoy a breathtaking vantage point over an expansive panorama.
Indeed, these vast plains are home to some of Kenya’s highest populations of endangered species, including half of the country’s black rhinos and half of the world’s Grevy’s zebras.

Day 9, 10 & 11: The Masai Mara National Reserve
A sumptuous breakfast is served at the camp and early check-out; followed by en-route transfer to the nearest airstrip to catch your flight to the Masai Mara. This huge expanse of gently rolling grassland – speckled with flat-topped acacia trees and trampled by massive herds of zebras and wildebeest – is the ultimate African cliché. But for once the reality lives up to the image and the Masai Mara, which comprises not just the famous reserve but also around a dozen community conservancies, several group ranches, and numerous Maasai villages is for many people not just the highlight of their Kenyan adventure but the very reason they came in the first place. Mahali Mzuri is Richard Branson’s new Kenyan property that will set our tone for the next three nights with all the chic glamour – these are modern and stylish for those looking for a modern and glamorous few days. There is a spa and a pool so you can really pamper yourself in between game drives.
