Day 2: Nairobi Cosmopolitan Tour

Begin your day with an amazing tour to the David and Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage giving you truly Heart- touching memories. The Wildlife Trust is bordering Nairobi National Park offering safe haven to orphaned baby elephants rescued from parks and reserves in Kenya. Later proceed to Giraffe Centre which protects the highly endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, combines serious conservation with enjoyable activities. Sum up with a Karen Blixen Museum tour ; was once the centre piece of a farm at the foot of the Ngong Hills owned by Danish Author Karen and her Swedish Husband, Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke. Located 10km from the city centre, the Museum belongs to a different time period in the history of Kenya. The farm house gained international fame with the release of the movie ‘Out of Africa’ an Oscar winning film based on Karen’s an autobiography by the same title. Dinner and overnight stay at The Crown Plaza Hotel, Nairobi.

Day 3 & 4: Amboseli National Park

Breakfast is served at the city hotel followed by early check-out; we will drive you by road to Amboseli National Park. Its signature attraction is the sight of hundreds of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Africa’s best views of Mt Kilimanjaro (5,895m). Africa’s highest peak broods over the southern boundary of the park, and while cloud cover can render the mountain’s massive bulk invisible for much of the day, you’ll be rewarded with stunning vistas when the weather clears, usually at dawn or dusk. Apart from guaranteed elephant sightings, you’ll also see resident wildebeest and zebras, and you’ve a reasonable chance of spotting lions, cheetahs and hyenas. The park is also home to over 370 bird species, and it has an excellent array of lodges and an agreeably mild, dry climate. Dinner and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge

It's Africa's most underrated parks during dry season (July to October). It's a place where elephants dot the plains like cattle, and where lion roars and zebra barks fill the night. Enjoy a fine overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge tucked away in a verdant valley, with enchanting views of Tarangire’s trademark baobab-studded landscapes. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Day 7 & 8: Ngorongoro Crater

A sumptuous breakfast is served at the lodge followed by a check-out; this day we will drive to the west of the fabled lost world of the Ngorongoro Crater, a volcanic bowl abounding with life and beauty, as the wonderful views are from above, the real magic happens when you get down inside and drive among an unparalleled concentration of wildlife, including the highest density of both lions and overall predators in Africa. One of the continent's premier attractions. Our base will be at the Ngorongoro Sopa lodge facing the magnificent sunsets to the west, and located at the highest point on Ngorongoro crater’s entire rim, Ngorongoro Sopa stands well over half a kilometer above the crater floor and offers unparralled views across this enormous caldera. Day 9 & 10: The Serengeti National Park

A sumptuous breakfast is served at the lodge; our drive will stop at the Olduvai Gorge, Its unique geological history provides remarkable documentation of ancient life, allowing us to look back to the days of our earliest ancestors. At 14,763 sq km, the Serengeti is an epic place, and it's renowned for its predators, especially lions, leopards and cheetahs, with plenty of elephants in residence, too. A few black rhinos around Moru Kopjes offer a chance to glimpse all of the Big Five (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo), although the rhinos are very rarely seen. It’s also an incredible bird watching destination, with over 500 species to spot. From our base at the airy Serengeti Sopa Lodge, deep in the heart of the world’s most important large animal migration corridor, we make rolling forays in to the plain, on the lookout for the large mammal species that inhabit this most noble swatch of planet Earth. Day 11, 12 & 13: The Great Masai Mara

A sumptuous breakfast is served at the lodge; we fly to the Masai Mara via Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport and Nairobi Wilson airport. This huge expanse of gently rolling grassland – specked with flat-topped acacia trees and trampled by massive herds of zebras and wildebeest – is the ultimate African cliché. But for once the reality lives up to the image and the Masai Mara, which comprises not just the famous reserve but also around a dozen community conservancies, several group ranches and numerous Maasai villages, is for many people not just the highlight of their Kenyan adventure but the very reason they came in the first place. We will enjoy sundowners from our tented camp at the Kichwa Tembo Tented set on a private concession, with abundant iconic wildlife and panoramic Masai Mara views.

A magnificent view to behold, the prestigious main structure reflects the 1950’s colonial architectural design with a luxury country club feel, complemented with independent quaint cottages, including William Holden’s original cottage. The Safari Club is a continental center of relaxation, and many activities are close at hand. We will also have a chance to visit the club’s animal orphanage and the nearby Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to a healthy coterie of rhinos, plus its Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary Kenya’s only chimp haven.
