Enplane to Nairobi, Kenya
Your 9-Days Splendours of Kenya Safari begins as you enplane for Africa. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be met by our team and transferred to your city hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2
Aberdares National Park
After breakfast and check-out, drive to the stunning Aberdares National Park, known for its towering waterfalls, dense forests, and windswept moorlands. This mountainous region showcases some of Kenya’s most dramatic highland scenery—ranging from misty rainforests to the open Kinangop moorlands.
Arrive at The Ark Lodge, your unique overnight stay built to resemble Noah’s Ark and overlooking a floodlit waterhole and salt lick. From its viewing decks and lounges, enjoy exceptional wildlife sightings throughout the day and night. A night guard alerts guests when special animals visit the waterhole, ensuring you never miss a moment.

Day 3 - 4
Shaba National Reserve - Samburu
After breakfast and check-out, enjoy a scenic drive to Shaba National Reserve, a landscape of dramatic mountains, dry plains, and the life-giving Ewaso Nyiro River. En route, your driver-guide will introduce you to the unique wildlife and culture that define the greater Samburu ecosystem.
Arrive at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge for lunch and check-in. Set along the riverbanks in Kenya’s semi-arid north, the lodge offers elegant rooms with private views of Shaba’s rugged wilderness.
Spend the next two days on morning and evening game drives, searching for the famed Samburu Special Five—Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the Samburu community, known for its rich traditions, colorful attire, and deep cultural heritage.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy Laikipia
After an early morning game drive and a hearty breakfast, check out and enjoy a scenic drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of Kenya’s leading conservation areas. Home to the Big Five and the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos, Ol Pejeta offers exceptional wildlife diversity, including black rhinos, southern white rhinos, lions, elephants, and more.
Check in at Sweetwaters Serena Camp, your luxury stay for the night, overlooking a busy waterhole that attracts wildlife throughout the day. Spend the afternoon exploring the conservancy on a game drive, encountering remarkable conservation efforts and some of Africa’s most iconic species.

Day 6
Lake Naivasha Crescent Island
After a sumptuous breakfast and check-out, enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha, the Rift Valley’s highest lake, framed by grassy shores, acacia forests, and bright blue waters. Arrive in time for lunch and check-in at Lake Naivasha Country Club, a historic 1930s retreat set on 55 acres of lush gardens with charming cottages, a pool, and serene lake views.
In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat ride to Crescent Island, one of the few places where you can walk freely among giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, impalas, and abundant birdlife—an unforgettable, up-close wildlife experience.

Day 7 - 8
Masai Mara National Reserve
After a hearty breakfast and check-out, enjoy a scenic drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. This vast wilderness of rolling grasslands, scattered acacia trees, and abundant wildlife is one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations.
Arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, head out on a game drive in search of the Mara’s legendary big cats and other wildlife that become active as dusk approaches.
Spend the next day exploring the Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives, or choose a full-day game drive with packed lunch. If visiting during the Great Migration season, you may witness the dramatic movement of wildebeest and zebra across the Mara River—one of nature’s greatest spectacles.

Day 9
Depart Nairobi
After a sumptuous breakfast, check out and enjoy a relaxed road transfer back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, our concierge team will assist you according to your flight schedule and bid you farewell as you board your onward flight.
